Design Your Business

Structure your business in a way which appeals to you. You cannot please everyone nor get them to purchase your product or service. However you will attract those who are of the same ‘designability’ (yeah…technical term!). Those who like the look of your sites, the words you choose and the flavor you present will become either affiliates or repeat customers.

When designing your business, choose the marketing and advertising venues which appeal to you. This will paint more fun and enjoyment in the process of emailing, posting or whatever you are doing. Design your business with other businesses if you want. You can focus on your main business, however some marketing tools and other gadgets on the net are a wonderful source of based residual income. Remember that old adage? The one about not keeping your eggs in one basket? Well another one is not keeping all your brushes in the same turpentine cup! Keeping your businesses separate but usably interchangeable will keep your design strokes fresh and appealing.

Look at the big picture when you set your goals. Vincent Van Gogh said ‘I dream my painting and then I paint my dream’. Keep this in mind when you design your business. Go for what appeals to you – in your heart!
