This is, hands down, a great way to supplement your primary source of income.!I know it has helped me to keep things going. It is not difficult for you to start one either. There are TONS of ways on the internet to accomplish this. Two decisions is all it takes – One is to find an opportunity, and Two is to stay committed to all that is needed to get one going. Things like perseverance, dedication, determination, gratitude and constant thought about your own reasons why.

When you browse my pages (top bar links), you will see some of mine. If it interests you, go ahead and try it. I am choosy as to what incomes to be involved in. Only honest, ethical, and contactable businesses are my choices. Yours should be to.

Remember, getting a second income from home CAN turn into your primary source of income! Do it right and the income will surely follow you!

Continue reading »]]> Actually there are three sides. If you think about it, these are the only ways to create, generate or destroy your income.

1.) Inactivity -  Your income is going nowhere. Either you are in the wrong business; not doing the right things, not being consistent or just not doing anything!

2.) Active - Your income is on the move upward. You attend to it daily, looking for ways to increase it even more by study, reading and applying what you are learning.

3.) Passive - Your income has turned into a work horse. It builds strength, confidence and steadiness on its own by attending to it in maintenance mode.

Which income side are you in? Each of us falls into one or more of these. Every penny of income is up to you. Either you are building your income fast, steady or not at all. Truth be told, I kept hopping from one to the other. I would not do anything, then get motivated because the dog needed more milkbones or something else was needed around the house. I would get active and work on it daily. Then the side track train would come along and I would take a ride on it. BOOM..right back on the inactive monorail. The internet can be a blessing or a curse – depending on who is  the conductor. I found out the hard way that I was letting the internet and its offers conduct ME. Time to take my train engine back.

I asked – what can I do to shift my income into active mode then slip it into a passive situation so I can start another income? There is a wealth of information out there to learn from. There is no magic train (bus for your older folk)  you can get on to see it. You need to lay your track down one at a time. Patience, persistence and consistency is key for your income. What ever system, plan or business you are in, get active in it. You will see your way through.

I have a couple MLM’s I am in. Yes…they are making me money. Yes they provide a great services. Yes I have marketing systems in place to promote them that work. Yes I decided to take a different track after I took control of the internet. The tracks I am laying are to help you examine your tools, your mindset and to show you other options to get your income rev’ed up. We all need a little steam to get to where we want to be.

In the next several posts, I will show you what I have learned and where I got that information. Other bloggers are a great source. However, you need to check them out before you go and do what they say. Yep…there are scammers in the blogosphere to! Just be careful…ok? Don’t get your train sucked into the tunnel of darkness.

You and your income are totally worth the time and effort it takes to get it rock solid and on the right path. Good or bad economy – no difference – everyone has the right and the privilege to earn money.

Continue reading »]]> Are you thinking of starting your own business online? Millions of people think of it, poke around with it, but few actually take the steps to get one started. Even fewer stay with their online business until profit!

Starting Your Own Business Online

If you are truly serious about starting your own business online, there are several key steps you need to consider and develop. I will talk about a few of these.

• Creating Your Business

This can be done from scratch or by taking advantage of affiliate programs offered on the internet. Should you already have a product or service, you would need to make sure you have a complete website package, which contain websites you can make, email accounts, hosting and a domain without emptying your wallet! (I have a great one – easy to use – check it out here). Affiliate programs  have their own websites you can use to promote their business. These pages are ‘cookie cutter’ sites and have the potential to desensitize the viewer by seeing the same site over and over again. Remember, with affiliate programs everyone is using the same site. There are ways to get around this by using a website starter package (mentioned above). That way you can make your own pages and just insert your affiliate URL. You will be unique on the net by having a one of a kind site. Study what you have to offer the world. Look at affiliate programs that are of interest to you.

• Your Internet Presence

Advertising alone will not make your presence known. You need to have a great domain name. Preferably one that is in relation to your business style, type, or offer. Domain names are a dime a dozen now, and you can purchase them through several online domain registers.  What they don’t tell you upfront is that’s all you get. A name with a file extension (.com, .net, .org etc). In order to make your name functional, you need to host it on a server somewhere. Then you need to attach it to something like a web page, blog or another means for viewing your business. That will add up in cost. Emails? Cost you extra. Internet presence is about getting the world to know you, trust you and like what you have to offer them. A site of your own, that you built, with emails which have your domain name (info@yourdomainname) will show that you mean business about your business. As you are starting your own business online, remember that people always google, yahoo or bing for information. When you have your own domain name – site – emails you will look professional when they search the net.

There is so much more to starting your own business online.  Creating your website design to match your business is a great start along with a fantastic website starter package. Get noticed with google, yahoo, bing and other search engines.
