Have you ever thought of income planning? You plan your budgets, but how about your income? How many times have you said to yourself…’I want to get more money’? or ‘I need to have more income’? I have…many times, just like you have (if you will admit it). Truth be told, that’s all I ever did. I just said it and never took action.
You may not be getting a raise anytime soon, if you are still employed in this temporary economic adjustment period, so I am assuming you are on the internet looking for extra income. If that’s the case, you need to get real clear, realistically, as to the amount you need – or better yet – the amount you MUST have!
Income planning is not a difficult procedure. Let’s say you make $40,000 a year from your work. After all your budgeting is done you find your self short by $2,000 a year. Chunk (Tony Robbins term) that amount down into a monthly income plan. You would need about $167.00 more income a month to get that must have. Or you can chunk it down even more, like by the day. Or you can get real silly and do it by the hour! What ever feels and works good for you.
Once you got that amount, focus on getting it. Do something about it! You have a huge place called the internet to look for getting that monthly income. Remember this, what ever (business) you choose, its up to you to make it happen – no one else. No one will do it for you, and that’s a great thing. You will learn and fail. You will learn and succeed. You will get more than an income.
Doing something little like income planning and being consistent with it will take you a long way in getting the income you must have and the income you truly want and deserve.
It’s the little things, built upon, that makes the difference!
